      Mr. Williams graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in New Orleans in 1979 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 1983.  Mr. Williams earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1988 from LSU Law School, receiving the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Law in 1987.  Following graduation from law school, Mr. Williams entered into a solo general civil practice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, focusing on the areas of personal injury, worker’s compensation, lease disputes and personal injury defense.  Later, Mr. Williams practiced for ten years with a litigation firm in Metairie, Louisiana, and his areas of practice included occupational illness, environmental property damage, lead paint personal injury and property damage, asbestos property damage, oil and gas royalty litigation, commercial litigation, construction and insurance defense. 

     Today Mr. Williams devotes most of his time to multi-party, complex litigation.  Mr. Williams’ current practice involves the representation of product manufacturers, safety equipment manufacturers, premise defendants and executive officers.  On February 1, 2000, Mr. Williams co-founded the law firm of Sulzer & Williams, L.L.C.

     Mr. Williams is an active member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, the  Louisiana State Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. 

     Rob enjoys hiking as well as playing golf and disc golf.  He lives in Mandeville, Louisiana with Yvette and his two children.
